What does fascia have to do with pain, stiffness, flexibility, mobility, and how well you move as you age? More than most of us ever realized.

Fascia—the connective tissue network that runs throughout your entire body—is finally getting the attention it deserves. In The Fascia Connection, internationally recognized fascia expert David Lesondak separates science from myth to explain what fascia really is, how it works, and why it matters to the way you move and feel, every day.

Drawing on more than 30 years of clinical experience and the latest research, Lesondak explores the connections between fascia, movement, flexibility, pain and tension, myofascial release, recovery, and healthy aging.

But this isn’t just a book about fascia. It’s a practical guide to working with yours.

The Fascia Connection includes 20 accessible, step-by-step movement practices that help you explore your own body and put the science into action.

Whether you’re managing stiffness, seeking better mobility, exploring myofascial release, staying active as you age, or simply wondering why everyone is suddenly talking about fascia, this evidence-informed guide offers practical tools for understanding the remarkable connective tissue system that connects your body.

Understand your fascia. Understand your body. Keep moving.

  • “David Lesondak has accomplished something rare: he teaches the entire scope of connective tissue and the fascial system without ever losing the reader along the way. The range he covers is impressive, yet the real gift is David the storyteller. He has a way of taking science of profound complexity and making it click through a single, simple analogy—shared so plainly, and through such a personal lens, that you feel like he's explaining it to you across the table. That relatability is what turns dense science into something you actually keep.”
Todd Wright, VP of Player Performance, LA Clippers, founder, Train 4 the Game

You'll encounter every nook and cranny of your body and wonder why this linking system has been absent from our general anatomical lessons. Aha moments abound as the book weaves together the story of the body, rich in motion, emotion and solid scientific insights."
