Roxane Ramos

Roxane Ramos, Communications and Content Specialist at the Desert Museum, coordinates the publications program and writes and edits materials for educational programs, outreach efforts, and exhibitions. She has served on arts grants panels; published photography, travel, and film essays; composed spoken-word text for dance pieces; edited a photography monograph; and taught yoga classes. In her spare time, Roxane enjoys visiting other museums, watching too many movies, cooking for family and friends, and walking her dog, Sasha. As a girl in the Bronx, she created a comic strip featuring various saguaro-ish characters, never realizing that one day she would make her home among those stately desert denizens.
