A. James Gregor is a professor of political science at the University of California, Berkeley. He is the author of numerous books, including In the Shadow of Giants: The MajorPowers and the Security of Southeast Asia, Young Mussolini and the Intellectual Origins of Fascism, Survey of Marxism: Problems of Philosophy and the Theory of History, and many others.
